We are witnessing efficient hydrogen designs some powered by urine, and Toyota commits to plug-in hybrids by 2012, while we look at a hybrid retro fit kit. IN the meantime, McDonald's & NovaCharge are working on a charging network, and South Korean CT&T is designing a neighborhood electric vehicles for the U.S., while Utah forgets about electric car with tax benefits, and Renault-Nissan now goes to the Netherlands.

Whoever feels all electric vehicles, EV are supped up golf carts surely has never heard of the Lightning GTS…

Urine For Hydrogen? Why not, with researchers developing an efficient way of producing hydrogen from urine, according to RSC. This way, we will not have to use precious water.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance Goes To Holland. Next on the radar of the Renault-Nissan Alliance is the Netherlands, whose government wants to launch its first electric vehicle next year, via AutoBlogGreen.

Utah Loopholes Plug Ins. The State of Utah apparently omitted tax credits for cleaner-running vehicles without considering zero-emissions electric cars, according to MLive.

Could CT&T Co Ltd Revolutionize EVs? That is the question TheGreenCarWebsite asks with this little known South Korean low-speed electric vehicle designed for cities and gated communities. The c-Zone will cost anything from $8,000-$16,000, and who knows?

McDonald’s & NovaCharge EV Charging Network. Funny thing associating the giant of fast food with EVs and charging stations but this article from PRWeb talks about the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations.

Hybrid Retro Fit. We have talked about plug-in hybrid, PHEV kits, but never a hybrid, HEV kit and this former IBM engineer believes his hybrid retrofit kit can transform nearly any vehicle into a fuel-saver at a cost of between $3,000 and $5,000, according to AutoBlogGreen. It sounds like the Poulsen Hybrid kit.

Toyota Commits To PHEV By 2012. Finally, it seems Toyota is getting serious about stepping up its HEV line up with PHEV, according to this Reuters article. It announced it would start leasing 500 plug-in cars first to government and corporate use, but has not said when it would commercialize them.

Super Efficient Hydrogen? Seems hydrogen is making a little come back with a team of Turkish students and their hydrogen powered prototype, via EVWorld.

Never a dull moment in the EV world. Stay tuned for more.
