So is behind ElectricNick.com?

Editor & Contributor: Nick Zart, no relation to “electricnick”, that was a play on word…

Nick has been involved with cars since the day he was born.  His parents collected old cars before it was even in fashion.  His first recollection of a car was at the age of 6 when he saw the tail end of a Bugatti.  It left an indescribable sensation on him.  He had the automobile disease and there was no vaccine.  His love of performance cars came alive with his Alfa Romeos and never thought anything would deter him until the ever increasing performance of electric vehicles became apparent.  While talking to the ever ebullient Chelsea Sexton from Who Killed The Electric Car? who communicated with brilliance her passion of electric vehicles (Thanks Chelsey!  That’s all he needed.) despite his reserve about EVs, he saw the light.  The allure and promise of Tesla Roadster parked right next to PlugInAmerica’s  booth sparked something.  Nick felt he was witnessing something children would be speaking of years down the road: “Do you remember when people used to drive gas cars?”  It was a revelation and he knew he wanted everyone to be aware of the fun, environmental and economic benefits of electric performance vehicles.  Whether you are a car enthusiast, looking for more power and thrills, someone looking to save money, disengage from the petroleum grip and it’s political entanglements, or just concerned about the environment, ElectrickNick.com offers all the info about electric cars and how they fit into the alternative energy car market, this blog explains in an easy way.

Contributor:  Virginia Zart

Poor Virginia was dragged into a world of old cars and soon was able to differentiate an Alfa Romeo from a Morgan.  the allure of electric vehicle didn’t leave her cold either as gas price started to creep at first, then surge.  She has been sending articles and tips to ElectricNick.

Contributor & Marketing: Heather Hayes

Inveterate blogger by excellence, Heather is always on the look out, writing for investing in alternative energy and for ETF Trends.  She sends ElectricNick many links and research material.

Contributor: Tom Lydon

Another car enthusiast with a passion for performance and a vision going forward.  Tom has been very active with ElectricNick by providing relevant information, important contacts, key stories, among other things.

Electric Motorcycles:  Ange Salvetti

Ange is a car and motorcycle enthusiast.  If he is not on a motorcycle testing the adherence to its limit, he will do the same with cars.  He sends ElectrickNick relevant information about both in the electric world.

History Contributor: Jim Barrett

Jim is another enthusiast with many contacts and and an incurable, insatiable love of old car.  He is a walking encyclopedia.  We can always turn to him to find out more about the most obscure car on the planet, its history and facts.

And of course you!  Thank you for your tips and hints.

  1. Couldn’t find anywhere else to post, so this seems good enough. [I work in IT, but I'm such a blogging neophyte.]

SB LiMotive, an electric vehicle battery joint venture between South Korea’s Samsung SDI and Germany’s Robert Bosch, is acquiring U.S. battery maker Cobasys, Samsung SDI said on Tuesday.

The Electricnick Team: Ken, we’ll look at it. Thanks for the heads up. We would like to talk to you more at some point.

  2. Hi,

This is a great and informative site, so thanks for that!

I’m editor of Mazda’s customer magazine, and was intrigued by Mary Lou Wang’s electric Mazda Miata – we’d like to feature her in the magazine and wondered if you might give me a contact email or failing that, forward this request. Thanks for your help.
