Test Riding, Commuter Cars Tango

Our other favorite electric car is the Commuter Cars Tango.  We got to seat in the passenger seat, right behind the driver…

The gist is that the Commuter CarsTango cannot leave you neutral.  You either get it or you do not… and we get it.  The Tango is a commuter car.  There is little luggage room, little space for anything else but get you from point A to B.  The Tango will get you in between with all smiles, and an EV grin.  And this is what you will see as a passenger.  It is all about the thrills.

Tango, The Handling.  There is no doubt about it, this little EV is glued to the ground.  If the ride is a little bumpy, shock absorbers can always be adjusted for those with sensitive hinies.  The EV is riveted on the tarmac as Rick, CEO and Founder of Commuter Cars rolls turn after turn without any body roll sensation.  The interior is re-enforced with a NASCAR grade roll bar, able to handle collisions.  Click here for the specs.

While one might feel a little claustrophobic seating behind the driver, this EV is not meant for long distances henceforth its name, Commuter Cars.

For those still skittish about its handling performance, this little videos shows the Tango in action, reputedly, it has outperformed a Porsche 911.

Tango, A Year After.  After George Clooney shed celebrity light on the Tango the list of other high profile people interested in it grew.  This particular one is Sergey Brin’s and as you can see on the following video, Larry Page has his also.

All in all, this EV is all about performance.  It would be the perfect mate to an AC Propulsion eBox.  Ah yes, the price.  $108,000 before government incentives with a $10,000 deposit.  And finally the show down, Tango versus Tesla.
