What better ways to promote the electric drive, even with the help of some internal combustion engines, ICE than with the Hybrid Fest?
The gist is that there is still much education that needs to happen with consumers if we are to have smart hybrids and electric vehicles, EV on our roads. We are a split society, especially in the west between irrational buyers, lulled by PR driven images and those that absolutely want the very best and healthiest.
Hybrid Fest. In the meantime, Hybrid Fest is a good way to promote hybrids and electric vehicles, EV, while hopefully instill what these vehicles can and cannot do for us. Held in Madison, Wisconsin, the weekend festivity is home to anything hybrids, propane vehicles, biodiesel, pure electric cars and of course electric motorcycles. This weekend, Ford made it and brought its Fusion hybrid.
It is good to see such gatherings bringing in mainstream car makers and the newer one on the blocks. By showcasing their technologies, they might just get people to become interested in cars again.
