News Abound From Everywhere On Electric Cars

We've said it before and we will say it again, news are storming in on electric battery development around electric cars.  The pace has picked from a year ago, as breakthrough after breakthrough give us a welcome breath of fresh air from last the decade of gas engine stagnation.
  • Vauxhall Trixx, Affordable Electric.  Vauxhall showed a nice electric vehicle, EV concept, called Trixx a while back that might finally make it into production.  Unfortunately,  according to AutoExpress, it will be a hybrid.  Too bad.
  • SCE Buys Into Stirling Energy Systems Solar One Project.  Things are heating up in California as Continental Southern California, the electric utility has agreed to buy into the Stirling Energy Systems Solar One project, which produces 850 megawatts of electricity to power about 600,000 homes per year, according to EnergyCurrent.
  • Which Hydrogen Car Is Viable? Surprise!  One hydrogen is actually viable.  Can you guess which one?  The H Racer is the only viable FCV, fuel cell vehicle, at this stage according to EcoGeek.
  • Why EVs Make More Sense? Watch Elon musk talk about it on Gas2.
  • Another TTXGP Contender, MotoCzysz.  Another contender is jumping the electric motorcycle race TTXGP at the Isle of Man called MotoCzysz.  It will 440 pounds, have 115 hp and race at 150 mph. And no, don't ask us how to pronounce it.  Just sizzling.  Source: MotorCycleDaily.
  • Utility Buys Back From Clients.  It will have to happen, it is happening in some states and still some utilities are very reluctant ti allow local user to sell back their excess electricity.  Not so for Green Mountain Energy Co. who wants to buy back the electricity customers who cab sell power to the retailer at the same price that the customers buy the power, according to DallasNews.
