  • EVs More Efficient Than Ethanol.  If you have been a faithful reader at Electricnick, you will probably know this but this time it is backed by a study that came from Stanford and University of California that concluded Ethanol from plants can fill up drivers’ gas tanks, but people could drive 80% farther if the crops were used for electricity, according to the MercuryNews.  Another nail in the coffin.
  • Renault-Nissan Goes To Singapore.  Will nothing the EV juggernaut Renault-Nissan?  This time they are heading out to Singapore to work with the Energy Market Authority, the Land Transport Authority and the Economic Development Board.  Source: Renault-Nissan, press release.

  • XR3 PHEV, Would You Buy It? Those kind of futuristic looking car, much like the Aptera are either a hit or miss, but won’t leave you feeling like you’ve seen yet another mass produced tasteless run of the mill car.  The XR3 is the brain-child of Robert Rily and it was designed 40 year ago, of course it has updated technology now. • Aptera Spotted In NY.  New Yorkers are rarely phased but spotting an Aptera in NY city has consequence, according to AutomobileMag.
