Electric Vehicles Renewable Energy and Storage News

Naysayers can say all they want, the choices of hybrids, HEV and electric vehicles, EV just keep on getting better.

  • Nissan Altima Hybrid Great Review.  Another great review for the Nissan Altima Hybrid which we drove a few months ago and liked.  According to AutoRacingGreen, you can have style and fuel savings.
  • Seoul Motor Show Welcomes Hyundai Blue-Will.  Hyundai will unveil what they claim to be a plug-in hybrid, PHEV crammed with exceptionally advanced technology, according to the PressAndJournal.
  • A123 Systems & Renault Working On Future Battery.  Renault is working A123 Systems to develop cathodes of lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4, according to AllCarsElectric.
  • Test Driving The Nissan EV-02.  The word is in and it’s nice reviews that pour in from test drivers of Nissan’s EV-02.  CNET says: “we were quite impressed with the linear acceleration exhibited by the EV-02, and its willingness to move.”  Nissan plans to offer a vehicle based on the technology present in the EV-02 within 18 months that will 99% recyclable between $20,000 to 30,000.  As far as Wired, they called it “sweet” and had this to say: “the drivetrain offered brisk acceleration — a hallmark of electric motors, which offer great torque — and the car felt nimble.”
