Day in and day out, the constant flow of news is heralding the fact that the electric car is taking shape beyond technological implication, via its developing structure and incentives pushed around the Earth.

  • Money Here But Not Delivered.  Receiving loans should become simplified in the U.S. where The U.S. Energy Department’s $25 billion is available but not allocated, even though it has received applications from 75 companies, according to IHT.
  • Toyota Prius Circa 2010, Improvements.  Trying to counter the buzz around Honda’s Insight, Toyota is pushing the performance envelop with its new Prius, according to DetroitNews.
  • Electric VW On The Horizon? It seems VW is finally serious about creating its own electric vehicle, EV after most other companies have expressed their interest, according to EnvironmentalLeader.
  • 32 Dealership For The Fisker Karma.  Fisker signed up 32 dealerships for its Karma, according to LATimes.
  • The U.S. Past Alternative Energy Attempts.  A great article from DetroitNews on how the U.S. has tried to deal with the alternative energy solutions for cars in the past.
  • Hyundai Plug-in Hybrid.  The company had talked about it and is getting closer to unveiling a plug-in hybrid, PHEV, according to AutoCar.
  • Building The Electric Car Infrastructure.  Ecotality is building the future for the infrastructure of EVs, according to CNET.
