Electric Car Domination, For Tomorrow

As the world turns, literally, the electric car is settling as an inevitability for car makers.  Concepts abound, innovations flourish, electric vehicles, EV take root in the public consciousness.  Still, most see EVs as glorified golf carts.

  1. Nissan NV200, Almost Electric.  Nissan hints at its promise of an EV, in the shape and form of its NV200 introduced at the Geneva Auto Show, according to AutBlogGreen.
  2. Battery Technology Looks Into Liquids.  Lithium doesn’t hold the entire buzz with batteries.  PhysOrg reports on researchers from MIT that have designed an all-liquid battery that can quickly absorb large amounts of electricity, as required for solar energy storage.
  3. Morgan Flirts With Modern Technologies.  The day we would see a hybrid or electric modern is here, the LifeCar concept uses hydrogen and ultracapacitors, according to AutoBlogGreen.
  4. Bo Zolland, A European Americans Will Love.  Finally a hot rod muscle car aficionados will love, the Bo Zolland looks like it packs a V8 but favors all electric and eventually hybrid drive train, according to CarDomain.
  5. Battery Makers, The New Top Dogs.  Detroit has relinquished its number one position in the car industry to battery makers who eye the advent of EVs as their chance to take over, according to the FinancialTimes.
  6. Upgraded Toyota RAV4 EV.  The Rav4 EV is already a great battery but ever wondered how much better it would have been with lighter more powerful batteries?  This is an eBay find of a lithium upgraded Rav4 EV.
