The gist is that the Fisker Karma is a serious attempt to offering a high end, high performance plug-in hybrid to the public. Have they achieved it? So far, so good.
Honoring The Technology. According to SOA World Magazine, Cleantech Investor Magazine, the prominent international magazine that highlights investment in clean technologies related to renewable energy, biofuel and the environment, featured Quantum Fuel System Technologies Worldwide in their first issue. Which also brings us to the question, why aren’t there any pure hybrid, HEV, or Plug-in Hybrid, PHEV or electric vehicle, EV dedicated magazines out there? Did we miss it?
According to the magazine: “We view Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies as an emerging leader in the development and production of advanced propulsion systems for alternatives fuel vehicles, energy storage technologies, and as a major tier 1 supplier of clean vehicle technologies to the automotive OEMs.”
In the meantime, according to VentureBeat, Fisker, the body art of the car is hoping to cash in government funds and work closer with GM, which we feel is a wise move on GM’s part.
Conclusion, this magazine is interesting since it heralds a new dawn of responsible investing and highlights our favorite subject, alternative and electric drive. We hope to see magazine completely dedicated to these new alternative drives very soon.
