Plug-In Hybrid Keep On Getting Better

There is no denying that the next logical step for hybrids, HEV are plug-in hybrids, PHEV.  And the technological advances make this technology a winner for fuel efficient conscious drivers as well as environmentally concerned citizens.

The gist, when Texas shuns ethanol and throws its weight behind PHEV, it is worth while considering.  According to Wall Street Journal, Texas Governor Rick Perry wants to give Texans a $5,000 incentive towards a purchase of PHEVs.

Developing A Plug-In Hybrid technology.  And with news of companies such as Ricardo, Inc. that has launched their Battery Systems Development Center in order to offer turnkey development and application of complete high-voltage battery-pack systems for HEV, PHEV and electric vehicles, EV, according to sys-con, can only mean good news for the mass adoption of electric drive cars.

AFS Trinity In The News.  Of course when you think of PHEV smart technologies, AFS Trinity has positioned itself well.  Not resting on its laurels, according to Motorage-SearchAutoparts reports that the company is closer to finding more funds to open car maker’s closed plants and retool one or more, which would get laid off workers back to work to produce their SUV.

AFS Trinity is part of myriad of start up companies that make the U.S. a driving force in innovations and possibilities.  It also proves that big companies still need a gentle nudge from new kids on the block.  Without it, there is complacency.
