Reading the news you’d think it was only about the Tesla Roadster and the Karma. Until SCC steps in.
According to AutoBlog, the SCC will be the world’s fastest electric surpercar. And it’s numbers are impressive. The supercar manufacturer proudly claims the batteries will not need to charge for 6 years. Already there, we are stomped. How can that be knowing the technology isn’t there? Unless they found something or someone to produce such batteries? And those batteries would power dual, five-hundred horsepower electric motors, there must be something in here we missed. Nonetheless, those numbers are mind boggling if not curious.
Ah but this is the world of Shelby SupeCars. Indeed, shrouded in mystery and secrecy, SSC has announced the Ultimate Aero EV (Electric Vehicle), the first 100% Green Supercar to achieve very impressive top notch, world contender performances. But do we have anything to substantiate all these claims?
Unfortunately, SSC’s Founder, Jerrod Shelby is mum on specs, actual developments and research. It’s too bad because it would be another great headline attention-grabber into the world of all electric performance car. Until then, we will keep an eye out for SSC’s incredible claims and continue watching the production of the Tesla Roadster
